General description General description of this villa This spacious villa is located on the first floor of the peaceful El Pueblo Villas community, perched on the cliffs of Sabadeco. From the veranda, rooftop terrace, and even the private pool, guests can enjoy expansive views of the Caribbean Sea and the distant Klein Bonaire. With a total area of 280 m², the villa offers ample space for a comfortable stay. The famous dive site Oil Slick Leap is only 500 meters away. Downtown Kralendijk is 7.6 kilometers from the villa, with Rum Runners restaurant at 5 kilometers, Zhung Kong restaurant at 4.5 kilometers, and Dive Friends Hamlet at 4 kilometers. Villa Vista Blue Villa 4 3 8 Getting around Bonaire and especially the hotspots like Washington Slagbaai National Park, the remote pristine beaches, and the kitesurf and windsurf locations, are best enjoyed with a rental car, as our lovely Caribbean island has so much more to offer beyond the immediate surroundings of Villa Vista Blue. With your own car you can explore remote snorkel spots, dive sites and local restaurants at your own pace. We strongly recommend renting a car so you can get everywhere easily. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for nature areas like the park, a pickup truck or SUV is advisable. The park roads are unpaved and sometimes rough, making a regular car less suitable. There is no public transport on Bonaire and taxis are limited, especially on busy days when a cruise ship is in port. El Pueblo villas was the perfect fit ! Just a short drive to town and very peaceful and beautiful. Villa Vista Blue was comfortable and clean… with everything one might need to cook a nice meal. The scenery was spectacular and I loved all the wildlife around. It was a gated community and we all felt safe. Close to amazing snorkeling spots too. The property is as pictured in the photos. We especially loved the roof top deck for watching the sun set. The house is clean and very well equipped. The central family room is not air conditioned but all the bedrooms are. The property is about a 12 min drive to town. One parking space is provided - it is tight. The local hostess was extremely responsive when we had questions. All in all, we loved our stay and would stay here again. Thank you. We were very satisfied with the contact with the organization before and during our stay at Villa Vista Bleu, in our case with Cecile and Simon. Everything was handled clearly and correctly, agreements were honored, and they responded quickly and effectively whenever something was missing, broken, or needed in the villa. Our family of seven was unanimously enthusiastic about the spectacular view from the rooftop terrace over the Caribbean Sea: to the left a view of the airport and cruise ships, to the right Curaçao (clearly visible at 65 km on clear days), and straight ahead Klein Bonaire. The villa itself was spacious enough, especially with the additional two-person apartment below. The only but biggest point of criticism is that the overall hygiene and several small defects indicate that the villa is used intensively and continuously. This isn’t immediately noticeable upon arrival, but becomes apparent after a few days. Examples include loose door handles, play in the kitchen faucet and bathroom taps, a dishwasher that no longer cleans optimally, a loose kitchen sink basin, and mold in the seals of the refrigerator and in the shower cabins. We also spent time ourselves cleaning the barbecue thoroughly to make it hygienic again; due to knobs that keep turning, it has clearly reached the end of its lifespan as well. At this point, thorough maintenance in the near future seems highly desirable, as these issues detract from the overall experience.
