With your own car you can explore remote snorkel spots, dive sites and local restaurants at your own pace. We strongly recommend renting a car so you can get everywhere easily. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for nature areas like the park, a pickup truck or SUV is advisable. The park roads are unpaved and sometimes rough, making a regular car less suitable. There is no public transport on Bonaire and taxis are limited, especially on busy days when a cruise ship is in port. The place is just so cute, the artistic touch of the owner is what makes it special and welcoming. From the veranda you can see your own front garden with all kinds of birds, lizards, butterflies, in a lovely breeze. Spacious house with spacious kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen is very nice to cook with good equipment. By car super close to the surfing beach of Sorobone. To Kralendijk it is a short drive but always along the flamingos, no punishment. Backyard with shed where a washing machine is able and lots of space to surf and snorkel gear and wash. Parking outside. Disliked - It was looking for the optimal sleeping conditions, we use the fan or air conditioning, which temperature we need to set to have at the end of the night still pleasant and not cold. We sleep in the master bedroom which is nice dark in the middle of the house, but has no window or the built-in spacious bed in the living room. We all tried it and eventually slept the best in the living room.
