Check availability Sunwise insider tip A short drive from Kas Berde lies Oil Slick Leap, one of Bonaire's most unique dive sites. This special location gets its name from the oil-like layer that sometimes floats on the water surface – completely natural and caused by organic matter from the coral reef. Oil Slick Leap offers a fantastic diving experience for both beginners and advanced divers, with a gradual descent along a beautiful coral reef full of colorful fish. The water is usually crystal clear and access is easy from shore. A perfect place to start your diving adventure on Bonaire or improve your skills! Just so you know No dryer – There's no dryer available, but thanks to Bonaire's constant sun and wind your laundry dries within hours Distance to Kralendijk – You're staying in peaceful Sabadeco about 10 minutes drive from downtown, perfect for privacy with all amenities nearby No air conditioning in living room – Bedrooms are beautifully cool with AC, while ceiling fans and sea breeze provide cooling in the living room Where you'll stay Please accept preferences-cookies to view this map. Kas Berde Villa 3 3 6 The neighborhood Upscale residential area just north of Kralendijk, known for its villa neighborhoods (including Crown Keys/Shores) along the rugged coast. Here you look out over the Caribbean Sea and reach popular dive sites like Andrea I & II in minutes. Sabadeco is beloved by peace seekers who want style and sea views, with sunsets you can catch right from your terrace. Luxury, space and direct coastal living are central. Getting around Bonaire and especially the hotspots like Washington Slagbaai National Park, the remote pristine beaches, and the kitesurf and windsurf locations, are best enjoyed with a rental car, as our lovely Caribbean island has so much more to offer beyond the immediate surroundings of Kas Berde. With your own car you can explore remote snorkel spots, dive sites and local restaurants at your own pace. We strongly recommend renting a car so you can get everywhere easily. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for nature areas like the park, a pickup truck or SUV is advisable. The park roads are unpaved and sometimes rough, making a regular car less suitable. There is no public transport on Bonaire and taxis are limited, especially on busy days when a cruise ship is in port. Guest reviews 10/10 12 reviews More info Kas Berde May 2026 Great house! Its green surroundings attract birds all day long — including the Lora — and the view is fantastic. The 14-meter pool is great for swimming laps and cooling off. The car can be parked in the shade. Communication with Christiaan from Sunwise was smooth as well. Highly recommended! Great views, beautiful birds, great spacious practical eco house with 3 private bedrooms and a very nice long refreshing pool. Nearby snorkelling and diving sites but little further from Kralendijk and surf beaches which is no problem because wherever you stay on Bonaire you’ll have to drive! Lots of privacy at Kas Berde. Love to come back! Read more 18th Jul 2024 by Tadek Hendriksz via Home away from home The detached house stands securely behind a fence and cactus hedge in a fantastic location; away from the crowds and with beautiful unobstructed views of the sea and Klein Bonaire, and Kralendijk (fifteen minutes away) in the distance. The neighbors are far enough away for privacy, but also close enough not to be isolated. The house is really great! Doors on all sides can be opened with blinds and the cooling breeze provides a wonderful temperature inside as well. The large terrace under the palapa is directly adjacent to a nature reserve where you can see the most beautiful birds all day. There is also a long swimming pool where it is good to swim laps. The decor is very attractive with lots of wood and natural materials. The kitchen is the most complete I have ever seen in a vacation home. A wonderful place to cook (if you don't eat at one of the many restaurants on the island). The three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, all overlook the pool and are decorated soberly and stylishly. With truly fantastic beds! Staying at Kas Bèrde feels like home away from home and is always too short. I will be back again soon! Read more 17th Apr 2024 by J.
