Den Laman Blue Marlin Apartment 2 2 4 The neighborhood Discover the neighborhood of Hato, your oasis on the edge of Kralendijk. Ideally located just north of the lively shopping street Kaya Grandi, Hato offers the perfect mix of tranquility and accessibility. The dive resorts and upscale apartments in this neighborhood, such as Den Laman Condominiums, are within walking distance of Kralendijk's boulevard and its best restaurants, shops, and activities, yet feel like a peaceful enclave. Whether you're coming for a relaxing beach vacation or to explore the cultural heart of Bonaire, Hato always provides a great home base. With a laid-back vibe, modern amenities, and the charm of being close to everything while still just outside the hustle and bustle, Hato is the place where vacation feels like it never has to end. Getting around Bonaire and especially the hotspots like Washington Slagbaai National Park, the remote pristine beaches, and the kitesurf and windsurf locations, are best enjoyed with a rental car, as our lovely Caribbean island has so much more to offer beyond the immediate surroundings of Den Laman Blue Marlin. With your own car you can explore remote snorkel spots, dive sites and local restaurants at your own pace. We strongly recommend renting a car so you can get everywhere easily. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for nature areas like the park, a pickup truck or SUV is advisable. The park roads are unpaved and sometimes rough, making a regular car less suitable. There is no public transport on Bonaire and taxis are limited, especially on busy days when a cruise ship is in port. The unit was very clean, well furnished and very clean. The patio faced the ocean. We had a power failure one afternoon impacting the whole building. Power went on in the building but failed to go back on in this unit. I called Simon and he arrived within 10 minutes. He had keys to a separate room that had circuit boxes for each unit. Simon found these circuits failed to go back on so Simon flipped them on and all the power was restored. Outstanding service by all the Sunwise Bonaire staff we encountered. I highly recommend staying at this unit and will do so in the future Read more 15th Jan 2024 by Raymond Hansen via It’s hard to imagine a better accommodation For serious divers, it's hard to imagine a better accommodation than Den Laman. The private pier allows access to Bari and Front Porch Dive sites, with tanks and rinse facilities on the pier, so those dives are easy to do any time. Our condo - Blue Marlin - was great.
