General description This spacious apartment sits in Kralendijk, within the Bonaire Beach Apartments complex, offering a pleasant garden view and about 100 m² of living space. The location is excellent: Van den Tweel supermarket at 1.1 kilometers, Chachacha Beach at 50 meters, restaurant Cuba Compagnie at 500 meters, and Dive Friends Chachacha at 50 meters. Situated on the ground floor, the complex also provides a communal outdoor pool (regular pool) for a refreshing dip after a day out. Layout of the apartment The apartment features one bedroom and one bathroom, a comfortable living room, and an open kitchen with an island and a steam oven. The seafront boulevard, piers, and the lively Wilhelmina Square set the scene, with plenty of eateries, bars, and shops within easy reach. It’s a vibrant yet relaxed area, and you’re perfectly positioned for quick access to west coast beaches and shore dive sites. Ideal for travelers who love to soak up local island life on foot. Getting around Bonaire and especially the hotspots like Washington Slagbaai National Park, the remote pristine beaches, and the kitesurf and windsurf locations, are best enjoyed with a rental car, as our lovely Caribbean island has so much more to offer beyond the immediate surroundings of Bonaire Beach Apartments 1. With your own car you can explore remote snorkel spots, dive sites and local restaurants at your own pace. We strongly recommend renting a car so you can get everywhere easily. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for nature areas like the park, a pickup truck or SUV is advisable. The park roads are unpaved and sometimes rough, making a regular car less suitable. Bonaire Beach Apartments is located in a brand-new building in Kralendijk. We chose this location because we wanted to be able to walk to Kralendijk. Bonaire Beach Apartments is just around the corner from the southern cruise pier. From the apartment, you could hear the cruise ships honking their horns as they arrived or departed. Very handy if you like to watch these mega cruise ships mooring or docking. We chose Bonaire Beach Apartment 1, which was the only one-bedroom apartment. The other apartments all have two bedrooms. The apartment was brand new and fully equipped. The bedroom had a wonderfully large bed, there was a spacious bathroom, an extra toilet, and even a washing machine. The living room had a modern open kitchen with a large refrigerator and dishwasher. It was also nice that the 'basics' were already there from previous guests. Think tea, coffee, dish soap, dishwasher tablets, laundry detergent, cooler, etc. Very handy, and so we left a few things behind for the next vacationers. We hardly used the pool because we enjoyed swimming in the sea, which is right on our doorstep (when there are no cruise ships). The only downside to the apartment is that the terrace is right next to the parking spaces and the main road. So you don't really have much privacy. But we didn't spend much time on the terrace, so it didn't really bother us. The booking and contact were all handled by Sunwise Bonaire and went very smoothly. If we had any questions, they responded very quickly via WhatsApp and helped us find solutions. The arrival and departure were also well organized. Swimming pool is also great. Sunny and quiet. Enough to cool off. Disliked - Privacy. You look at parking spaces and therefore from outside in the bedroom and terrace.
