General description The Roman Penthouse is a spacious penthouse in the Kralendijk neighborhood, in the Hausmann Follies building, offering beautiful sea views and a living area of 250 m². Van den Tweel supermarket is 1.5 kilometers away, Chachacha Beach 170 meters, restaurant At Sea 100 meters and Dive Friends Chachacha dive center 170 meters. The penthouse is located on the fourth floor in American floor counting. Guests have access to a shared regular swimming pool, located on the pool deck and surrounded by the communal garden. Layout of the apartment The penthouse features three bedrooms: the master bedroom with one king-size bed, bedroom 2 with one king-size bed, and bedroom 3 with one king-size bed and a sofa bed. There are three bathrooms, which is very convenient when staying with several people. The open kitchen connects directly to the living room and is equipped with built-in appliances, including a dishwasher, stove, refrigerator, freezer, oven, coffee maker and kettle. Outside, you’ll find a balcony with seating and access to the shared garden and pool deck, allowing you to relax comfortably both indoors and outdoors. From the Kralendijk boulevard, several boats depart to the uninhabited islet Klein Bonaire, which is part of the protected Bonaire National Marine Park. Along its white sandy beaches you can enjoy excellent snorkeling over coral reefs with many colorful fish and often sea turtles. Bring plenty of drinking water, sun protection and, ideally, your own snorkel gear, as there are no shops or restaurants on Klein Bonaire. Just so you know No dryer – There is no tumble dryer, but your laundry usually dries very quickly in the Caribbean sun. No BBQ – Barbecuing isn’t possible here, but there are plenty of waterfront restaurants to enjoy. The Roman Penthouse Apartment 3 3 6 The neighborhood Kralendijk center with its boulevard, piers, sailboats and motorboats on moorings, and colorful facades: here you’re right between restaurants, bars, boutiques and the departure points for various boat trips, including sunset tours and the water taxis to Klein Bonaire. It’s ideal if you want everything within walking distance and love evening strolls along the waterfront. For divers and snorkelers, Playa is a great base with quick access to west coast sites; for foodies and shoppers, this is the place to be. Expect vibrancy, convenience and the shortest travel times to the main town’s amenities. Getting around Bonaire and especially the hotspots like Washington Slagbaai National Park, the remote pristine beaches, and the kitesurf and windsurf locations, are best enjoyed with a rental car, as our lovely Caribbean island has so much more to offer beyond the immediate surroundings of The Roman Penthouse. With your own car you can explore remote snorkel spots, dive sites and local restaurants at your own pace. We strongly recommend renting a car so you can get everywhere easily. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for nature areas like the park, a pickup truck or SUV is advisable. The park roads are unpaved and sometimes rough, making a regular car less suitable. What a fantastic stay we had in this penthouse. Everything is wonderfully spacious; everything is provided, from a bread knife to oranges—so nice. It is also a luxury to have a private bathroom with every bedroom. We felt right at home the moment we stepped inside after a long journey. It is so beautiful looking out over the sea; on our last day, we even saw a whole school of dolphins! Occasionally, a large ship or cruise ship would be docked right outside; there was plenty to see. The view from the spacious balcony over the sea and Klein Bonaire is truly breathtaking and never gets boring. The penthouse is comfortable, fully furnished, and located within walking distance of cozy restaurants, shops, and the boulevard. The combination of the perfect location and the beautiful view makes this an ideal vacation destination. Bonaire remains a paradise for us: the relaxed atmosphere, the wonderful climate, and the beautiful nature ensure that we enjoy ourselves every time. From the moment you step inside, it feels like 'coming home.' The view, the central location, and all the facilities in and around the apartment make your vacation feel like luxury! A fantastic apartment, fully equipped with all amenities and situated in a stunningly beautiful location. There is always something going on from the beautiful terrace, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves there.
