Where you'll stay Please accept preferences-cookies to view this map. Laguna Serena Apartment Apartment 2 1 4 The neighborhood Kralendijk’s center comes with a lively boulevard, piers, sailboats and motorboats moored on buoys, and colorful facades. Here you are right between restaurants, bars, boutiques and the departure points for various boat trips, including sunset tours and water taxis to Klein Bonaire. It’s ideal if you want everything within walking distance and enjoy strolling the boulevard in the evening. For divers and snorkelers, the Playa area is a convenient base with quick access to west coast sites; for foodies and shoppers, it’s the place to be. Expect bustle, convenience and the shortest travel times to the island’s main amenities in Kralendijk. Getting around Bonaire and especially the hotspots like Washington Slagbaai National Park, the remote pristine beaches, and the kitesurf and windsurf locations, are best enjoyed with a rental car, as our lovely Caribbean island has so much more to offer beyond the immediate surroundings of Laguna Serena Apartment. With your own car you can explore remote snorkel spots, dive sites and local restaurants at your own pace. We strongly recommend renting a car so you can get everywhere easily. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for nature areas like the park, a pickup truck or SUV is advisable. The park roads are unpaved and sometimes rough, making a regular car less suitable. There is no public transport on Bonaire and taxis are limited, especially on busy days when a cruise ship is in port.
