Check availability Sunwise insider tip From Belnem Breeze Rileks it’s only a few minutes’ drive to Bachelor’s Beach, a beloved beach on the southern edge of Kralendijk. This narrow strip of sand lies at the foot of a low cliff, giving it a cozy, tucked-away feel. It’s an excellent spot to relax between swims and to snorkel along the shoreline. Bring your mask and snorkel to explore the clear water and many reef fish, and feel free to stay into the late afternoon for a laid-back end to the day. Just so you know No BBQ – Barbecuing isn’t possible here, but there are several coastal spots and beach bars nearby where you can enjoy open-air dining. Unpaved access road – The access road is unpaved and a bit bumpy, but easily manageable with a regular rental car. No A/C in the living room – The living room has no air-conditioning, but with a ceiling fan and open doors to the balcony you’ll usually have a pleasant breeze. Belnem Breeze Rileks Apartment 2 2 4 The neighborhood South of the center and toward the salt pans, Belnem is one of Bonaire’s best-known residential and vacation areas, traditionally linked to Harry Belafonte. Over time, Belnem has become an umbrella name for upscale sub-neighborhoods such as La Palma, Sabalpalm, Lima, Punt Vierkant and Playa Esmeralda. Here you’re close to popular south coast beaches like Bachelor’s Beach and iconic dive sites, perfect for sunsets and relaxed beach life. It’s a quiet residential area with quick routes to the airport and downtown Kralendijk. Getting around Bonaire and especially the hotspots like Washington Slagbaai National Park, the remote pristine beaches, and the kitesurf and windsurf locations, are best enjoyed with a rental car, as our lovely Caribbean island has so much more to offer beyond the immediate surroundings of Belnem Breeze Rileks. With your own car you can explore remote snorkel spots, dive sites and local restaurants at your own pace. We strongly recommend renting a car so you can get everywhere easily. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for nature areas like the park, a pickup truck or SUV is advisable. The park roads are unpaved and sometimes rough, making a regular car less suitable. There is no public transport on Bonaire and taxis are limited, especially on busy days when a cruise ship is in port. Guest reviews 9.4/10 10 reviews More info 10/10 We came to Bonaire for kiteboarding and already look forward to our next visit. We thoroughly enjoyed our week-long stay at Belnem Breeze Rileks. The two-bedroom apartment is comfortable, well-equipped, and offers all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. Its location is ideal, conveniently situated between Atlantis Beach, the kiteboarding spot, and Kralendijk. Read more 7th Jul 2026 by Koen Van Winckel via The location is great. The host was responsive. The pool area was appreciated. Out of the host's control was the blowing dirt from nearby construction. We read a review mentioning this but thought it couldn't be as bad as the person said. it was. The beautiful patio was unusable. We swept several times the first 2 days but finally gave up. We were both working on this trip and our computers were covered in dirt after a couple of hours working outside. So for 8 days we worked inside. Really disappointed. Again, this isn't the host's fault, but it's worth checking to see if the construction is done before booking unless sitting on the patio isn't important. Super location. Great hosts. Bad dirt. Best snorkeling that we have ever seen. The 3rd floor unit had a fabulous ocean view on 3 sides. The unit was super clean and modern. The beds were comfortable and we really appreciated the high quality linens. Luke was very responsive and very easy to reach and communicate with. Overall we loved our stay and can’t wait to return. J&H Read more 8th Apr 2026 by James Woodcroft via Great quiet location and safe neighbourhood. The apartment was exactly what we expected on the interior. Everything you would need. Very nicely decorated. All kitchen utensils except a toaster. The apartment provides beach chairs and a cooler which was very convenient. The host was very attentive and available if you needed. You definitely need a car to get into town or the beaches from this location. There is unfinished housing around the apartment building which creates a lot of dirt and dust. The outdoor balcony view was nice however the dirt covered the porch and all of the furniture everyday. It was hard to continue cleaning so we gave up. It was very unfortunate for us as we rented an apartment with a balcony specifically as we love to sit outdoors. You can’t do that here. The couch is ruined with dirt unfortunately. Once the area is better developed we would definitely return to this apartment. Jodi Read more 11th Mar 2026 by Jodi McArthur via What a fantastic place! The view is breathtaking. There's still construction going on right in front of the apartment, but that didn't bother us at all. The apartment has everything you need for a wonderful holiday. There are restaurants nearby and a supermarket just around the corner. You can park your car in your own parking space. Communication with Luc was easy and clear. We'd definitely return. We had a wonderful time! We got greeted personally and also had a personal goodbye when we left. We had an issue with the safe which was immediately taken care of. The location is greet as well. There are walkable restaurants available and the drive to the city centre with tons of options is less than 10 minutes. Bottom line, we would go back to this place on a heartbeat Read more 27th Dec 2025 by Tobias Kuehnle via We spent 12 days here and loved it. A beautiful and spacious apartment with all the amenities: plenty of towels, linens, a washing machine, beach chairs, a fully equipped kitchen, and so on. The air conditioning is only in the two bedrooms, but if you open the doors, the rest of the apartment cools down automatically. We enjoyed it so much that I'm going back in March! Read more 31st Oct 2025 by Vera Urru via We had a great time at Belnem Breeze top floor apartment. It was clean, spacious and tastefully decorated! It had everything we needed, even a private washer in the unit. It's in a good location on the island, close to the Bachelor's beach, airport and downtown. We're happy we chose this place for our vacation. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful place with us! Read more 9th Jul 2025 by Diliara Rozin via This place was incredible. It was better than expected close to the beach and right next door to a little grocery store. Mark was great! He met us at check in/check out, was responsive but no overwhelming and even helped carry our bags up. The condo was clean roomy and the pool area and lockers for beach/dive equipment was amazing. I definitely recommend and will be back if it's available next time we come!
