General description This spacious condo is located on the second floor of the Belmar Oceanfront Apartments complex in the Punt Vierkant neighborhood. From the balcony, guests enjoy spectacular views over the Caribbean Sea. With a total surface area of 184 m², there is plenty of room for a comfortable stay. The shared magna pool provides a refreshing swim on warm days. Good and More is just 350 meters away, Bachelor’s Beach 650 meters, and downtown Kralendijk 5.2 kilometers. Restaurant Brass Boer is 950 meters away, as is the Dive Friends branch at Delfins Beach Resort. Layout of the apartment The condo has three bedrooms: the master bedroom with a king-size bed measuring 180 by 200 centimeters, and two bedrooms each with two single beds measuring 90 by 200 centimeters. There are two bathrooms. The open kitchen adjoins the living room and is equipped with a stove, refrigerator, freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, and mixer. The area is ideal for divers and snorkelers, with several famous dive sites nearby. You’ll also find cozy restaurants and beaches like Bachelor's Beach and Te Amo Beach close by. Downtown Kralendijk is just a short drive away. Getting around Bonaire and especially the hotspots like Washington Slagbaai National Park, the remote pristine beaches, and the kitesurf and windsurf locations, are best enjoyed with a rental car, as our lovely Caribbean island has so much more to offer beyond the immediate surroundings of Belmar Oceanfront Apartment 12. With your own car you can explore remote snorkel spots, dive sites and local restaurants at your own pace. We strongly recommend renting a car so you can get everywhere easily. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for nature areas like the park, a pickup truck or SUV is advisable. The park roads are unpaved and sometimes rough, making a regular car less suitable. There is no public transport on Bonaire and taxis are limited, especially on busy days when a cruise ship is in port. The back deck was our favorite part of the stay. What an incredible view to wake up to every day! We loved sitting out there eating breakfast and sipping coffee before heading out or having drinks and aperitifs watching the sunset. Beautiful! The kitchen is extremely well stocked. You will have everything you need and then some! The bedrooms are quite roomy with plenty of clothes storage and the beds were all comfortable. The individual AC units in each of the rooms work great and cool the room down very quickly when coming back from diving at the end of the day. One of the best parts of the apartment was having a washing machine, which isn’t typically a thing in Bonaire rentals. We did a load every other day and were able to hang our clothes to dry overnight. It made packing so much lighter! You can do your check out dive steps from your unit. We’ve been diving in Bonaire for many years and Apartment 12 at the Belmar is our favorite. It’s newly renovated and the kitchen is well stocked with anything you might need. They’ve recently added a washing machine which adds great value! The beds and linens are upscale and very comfortable but the outside patio is where you’ll spend your time. The upper floor units have the best unobstructed view of the ocean and the sunsets are incredible. You’re up and away from the foot traffic of the dock and pool making it a private oasis. We stayed for 2 weeks and there was no additional charge for mid-stay cleaning with new towels. Watch sunset from your balcony. One concern is that this unit is advertised as having a washing machine for clothes, which it did not. Otherwise a great stay and would stay again.
