Playa Lechi Penthouse Apartment 3 3 6 Getting around Bonaire and especially the hotspots like Washington Slagbaai National Park, the remote pristine beaches, and the kitesurf and windsurf locations, are best enjoyed with a rental car, as our lovely Caribbean island has so much more to offer beyond the immediate surroundings of Playa Lechi Penthouse. With your own car you can explore remote snorkel spots, dive sites and local restaurants at your own pace. We strongly recommend renting a car so you can get everywhere easily. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for nature areas like the park, a pickup truck or SUV is advisable. The park roads are unpaved and sometimes rough, making a regular car less suitable. There is no public transport on Bonaire and taxis are limited, especially on busy days when a cruise ship is in port. Because we had already had good experiences with Sunwise at other houses and apartments on Bonaire, our expectations were high. Once again, they were fully met. The penthouse is truly an experience in itself. The elevator takes you directly to the apartment with your own key. Inside, a beautiful, spacious and comfortable apartment awaits, equipped with everything you need. The three bedrooms are spacious and the beds are excellent. For us, the absolute highlight is the very spacious terrace. From the terrace, you have a beautiful view of the Caribbean Sea and Klein Bonaire. It is a wonderful place to have breakfast, relax or enjoy the view at the end of the day. We therefore spent a lot of time here. Sunwise's service also deserves a compliment. Margot took good care of us during our stay and always answered our questions quickly and effectively. We look back on a wonderful stay at Penthouse Lechi Playa and would without a doubt choose both this apartment and Sunwise again. From the first contact, the booking, the welcome on our arrival date until the last day of our vacations, everything went smoothly. The penthouse was perfect and we enjoyed the perfect view from the huge terrace. The only point which should be looked at, was the wifi, which you cannot really use. We needed to use an e-sim. Every morning we enjoyed the breathtaking view all over again. The location is very central and perfect for exploring the island. Snorkeling right in front of the apartment was a dream — it felt like swimming in an aquarium, and we even spotted a turtle! Communication with the host was smooth and flexible. Since no new guests were arriving right after us, we were allowed to check out later, which was very convenient as we had an evening flight. The photos of the accommodation are 100% accurate. It is a beautiful space with an incredible view! A family of five divers on this trip, and we ate the majority of our meals in the space outside overlooking the ocean. The location was perfect and easy to get to everywhere with a car rental, and also lots of beautiful walking along the sea right outside your door. I practically lived on the patio and would love to come back here again. Such a memorable trip in a space like this. Tons of space and also separate space for your dive gear downstairs, along with a rinse tank if you don't feel like rinsing at the dive shop. This space fits any scenario. We were low-key and came here to dive, but the place is beautiful with an incredible outdoor space if you are looking for a place with nice amenities. The location was ideal for us as it’s walkable to town for dinner! Loved the view as well.
