Check availability Sunwise insider tip Just a few minutes' drive from Laguna Serena Villa lies the Donkey Sanctuary, a unique rescue center that you absolutely shouldn't miss. Here, hundreds of donkeys roam freely in a protected natural area of more than 60 hectares. These gentle animals have a special history on Bonaire - they were once used for transportation and agriculture, but when cars arrived, many donkeys roamed wild around the island. The sanctuary now provides them with a safe home where visitors can observe them up close, feed them and learn more about their role in Bonairian culture. A wonderful outing for the whole family! Just so you know No dryer - there's no dryer available, but thanks to the constant sun and wind on Bonaire, your laundry will be bone dry within a few hours No dining table inside - there's no dining room table in the villa, but the covered porch has a beautiful large table that's perfect for long dinners in the open air Stairs - there are stairs present in the villa, which may be less suitable for guests with mobility issues Where you'll stay Please accept preferences-cookies to view this map. Laguna Serena Villa Villa 4 2.5 8 The neighborhood Downtown Kralendijk with its boulevard, piers, sailing and motor boats at the mooring buoys and colorful facades: here you're right in the middle of restaurants, bars, boutiques and the departure point for various boat trips, including sunset tours and water taxis to Klein Bonaire. Ideal for those who want everything within walking distance and enjoy strolling along the boulevard in the evening. For divers and snorkelers, this area is a great base due to quick access to the west coast spots; for foodies and shoppers, this is the place to be. Expect liveliness, convenience and the shortest travel times to the facilities in Bonaire's capital: Kralendijk. Getting around Bonaire and especially the hotspots like Washington Slagbaai National Park, the remote pristine beaches, and the kitesurf and windsurf locations, are best enjoyed with a rental car, as our lovely Caribbean island has so much more to offer beyond the immediate surroundings of Laguna Serena Villa. With your own car you can explore remote snorkel spots, dive sites and local restaurants at your own pace. We strongly recommend renting a car so you can get everywhere easily. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for nature areas like the park, a pickup truck or SUV is advisable. The park roads are unpaved and sometimes rough, making a regular car less suitable. There is no public transport on Bonaire and taxis are limited, especially on busy days when a cruise ship is in port. Guest reviews This vacation rental doesn’t have guest reviews yet.
