General description Coral Laguna is a generous home of approximately 250 m² in the Laguna Marina area, located directly on the calm waters of the lagoon of the same name. From the garden and pool deck you overlook the Laguna Marina, with direct access to the Caribbean Sea. Van den Tweel supermarket is 2 kilometers away, Te Amo Beach and Donkey Beach are 2.1 kilometers, Sebastian’s Restaurant is 750 meters away and dive center Dive Friends Port Bonaire is 1.8 kilometers from the house. Outside you’ll find an infinity pool in a private setting, perfect for cooling off after a day out on the island. Layout of the villa The house features four bedrooms: the master bedroom with a king-size bed, a second bedroom with two single beds, a third bedroom with two single beds and a studio with a king-size bed. There are four bathrooms in total, which is very convenient for a larger group. Coral Laguna Villa 4 4 8 The neighborhood The Laguna Marina area is the artificial lagoon between Kralendijk and the airport, connected to the Caribbean Sea by channels. Around the lagoon you’ll find villas, small-scale resorts and hotels (including Ocean Breeze, Plaza Beach Resort and Water Villas Bonaire), often with private boat docks. The water is sheltered and calm – ideal for kayaking, paddleboarding and relaxed waterfront living – with a direct boating connection to the open sea and the dive sites along the west coast. Getting around Bonaire and especially the hotspots like Washington Slagbaai National Park, the remote pristine beaches, and the kitesurf and windsurf locations, are best enjoyed with a rental car, as our lovely Caribbean island has so much more to offer beyond the immediate surroundings of Coral Laguna. With your own car you can explore remote snorkel spots, dive sites and local restaurants at your own pace. We strongly recommend renting a car so you can get everywhere easily. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for nature areas like the park, a pickup truck or SUV is advisable. The park roads are unpaved and sometimes rough, making a regular car less suitable. Nicole & Johan did a fantastic job finding the perfect property for our group of 9 people! With 3 suites plus a guest house, Coral Laguna accommodated our large group very comfortably. It is immaculately well kept, modern and very well decorated. Coral Laguna is also placed in a perfect location close to the best beaches, restaurants & shops. Also, it is just a few minutes driving away from Lac Bay, our main destination on the island. We will certainly come back! Waking up in the morning with a cup of coffee on the veranda, we watched a pelican dive into the water to catch its own breakfast. The house is centrally located on the island, with the airport just a stone’s throw away (without any noticeable disturbance). All with King beds, and each having a private bathroom. A new security gate feature added a slight challenge being able to exit, on the day of our early flight! The location is ideal—just a short distance from the main windsurfing spot, which made getting on the water quick and easy every day. The house itself is very comfortable and thoughtfully set up. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need for cooking, and there are plenty of outdoor spaces to unwind, whether you're looking for sun or shade. We especially enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the variety of spots to relax outside. The manager was incredibly relaxed and welcoming, which really added to the laid-back vibe of the whole experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Bonaire, especially if you're into windsurfing or just want a calm, well-appointed place to stay. Location is 3-5 minutes from everything (groceries, beach, restaurants, airport, etc.)The primary home is very nice with 3 bedrooms all with ensuite. The pool was very clean. The deck over looking the water is large and furnished with ample seating. The dock is large/long & has comfortable furniture under the palapa. The home itself was comfortable for our family of 5. Mosquito’s are no joke in Bonaire (late afternoon into the evening). Coming from Winnipeg in Canada we consider ourselves very accustomed to mosquitoes. Trust & believe they are next level in Bonaire. Parking was available just a few feet from the front door. Property & home were clean; beds were comfortable all king size. Bonaire is a beautiful island extremely clean. Everyone we met during our stay was very friendly. The donkey sanctuary is a must and so is seeing the entire island and all it has to offer. It was indescribably beautiful and luxurious. the rooms were spacious, the beds nice, the bathrooms modern. Best of all was the large veranda on the water where we could eat, read and chill by the pool. A great stay and special thanks to Jeroen, who was always ready and even brought forgotten airpods to the airport, just before departure!!! Can I park a car at Coral Laguna? Coral Laguna has free parking for our guests on its own property. However, most of our guests park along the side of the road, near the house. We recommend that all our guests at Coral Laguna rent a car while on Bonaire, and by car, the nearest beach, that of Te Amo, is only a 4-minute drive away, at about 2.1 kilometers, or 1.3 miles. What is there to do in the vicinity of Coral Laguna? Near Coral Laguna you will find Flamingo Adventure Golf, Epic Sunset Tours, Seacow Snorkel Tours, Mangroves and Klein Bonaire, but with a rental car, the best snorkeling– en dive sites, as well as all other activities on Bonaire, are always nearby.
