This iconic dive and snorkel site on Bonaire's west coast is famous for its impressive reef wall that begins just offshore. With your own car you can explore remote snorkel spots, dive sites and local restaurants at your own pace. We strongly recommend renting a car so you can get everywhere easily. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for nature areas like the park, a pickup truck or SUV is advisable. The park roads are unpaved and sometimes rough, making a regular car less suitable. There is no public transport on Bonaire and taxis are limited, especially on busy days when a cruise ship is in port. Neatly furnished with all the facilities we needed. Due to my family circumstances we did not spend the whole time there, but the time we were there it was quiet. Within walking distance to the city. Minus point was the pool which was not cleaned in between. I had little time to swim, but if I did I would have loved to use it. We will definitely come back and can recommend it. Parasol o.i.d. on terrace would be nice, because very hot Evening Sun. 2. Extra blanket for on the bed. 3. Extra bed linnen.
