City sounds – Thanks to the central location you may occasionally hear the lively sounds of Kralendijk in the background. Where you'll stay Please accept preferences-cookies to view this map. Epic Oceanfront Apartment 1 1 2 The neighborhood Downtown Kralendijk with its waterfront boulevard, piers, sailboats and motorboats on moorings, and colorful facades puts you right among restaurants, bars, boutiques, and the departure points for various boat trips, including sunset tours and watertaxis to Klein Bonaire. It’s ideal if you want everything within walking distance and like to stroll along the boulevard in the evening. For divers and snorkelers, the Playa area is a great base thanks to quick access to the west coast sites; for foodies and shoppers, this is the place to be. Expect liveliness, convenience, and the shortest travel times to all amenities in Bonaire’s main town, Kralendijk. Getting around Bonaire and especially the hotspots like Washington Slagbaai National Park, the remote pristine beaches, and the kitesurf and windsurf locations, are best enjoyed with a rental car, as our lovely Caribbean island has so much more to offer beyond the immediate surroundings of Epic Oceanfront. With your own car you can explore remote snorkel spots, dive sites and local restaurants at your own pace. We strongly recommend renting a car so you can get everywhere easily. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for nature areas like the park, a pickup truck or SUV is advisable. The park roads are unpaved and sometimes rough, making a regular car less suitable. There is no public transport on Bonaire and taxis are limited, especially on busy days when a cruise ship is in port. Guest reviews 9.8/10 24 reviews More info Perfect location and a fantastic stay! This place was absolutely perfect—clean, comfortable, and right on the marina. The location couldn’t be better; everything was walkable and exactly as described. It did get a bit loud at times due to local motorcycles and the restaurant next door, but honestly, that restaurant turned out to be the best on the island! Overall, we had an amazing stay and would definitely come back. Read more 23rd Jun 2025 by Amanda via Absolutely stunning view I enjoyed my stay at the Epic Waterfront apartment. The view from the balcony is absolutely stunning. The apartment itself is spacious and comfortable. I took an Epic water taxi for free to Klein Bonaire, and it was the highlight of my trip. That perk was definitely an added bonus. The apartment is at the center of it all, and I was able to walk to most places. I booked day passes at the Chogogo resort and the Van Der Valk Plaza beach hotel, and I was able to walk to both (about 25 mins each way). There are tons of restaurants nearby and a supermarket (Top) within walking distance for essentials. As other reviews have stated, you can hear everything going on next door at the restaurant. And you can hear the dishes being washed while you are in the bedroom. There were days where I wanted to take a nap but could not because of the noise. I usually had to go to bed after 11pm once the restaurant was closed for the night. I guess that is the price you pay for being at the center of it all. Restaurant next door can get a little loud at night with dish washing right outside your bedroom window, but we got used to it by the second night. Definitely would stay again and great value for the price. Read more 11th May 2025 by Derek via Perfectly clean and fantastic location Perfectly clean and equipped. Fantastic location right in the center of town and with great sunset views. Highly recommend. Read more 28th Apr 2025 by Brooks via Amazing oceanfront apartment! Amazing place and location. We loved being right on the promenade. Read more 22nd Apr 2025 by Eric via Great central location! Great central location on the water with a very good restaurant right next door. Walking distance to a ton of restaurants bars and shops and for divers, Dive Friends has one of their dive shops just a couple blocks up the waterfront. Nice view out over the water with a great sunset every night. Not always the most quiet place as there’s a lot of activity in the area, but we’d stay here again without question. Read more 31st Jan 2025 by Dan via Exceptional! Exceptional location to walk into the town. The views are stunning. Very modern and had all we required. Good communication with host, would recommend and stay again. Read more 29th Jan 2025 by Howard via Host was very communicative Apartment location was excellent. Very walkable close to lots of restaurants and shops. There are a multitude of snorkeling opportunities within a short drive. We especially enjoyed our complimentary trip to Klein Bonaire via the Epic water taxi service. A unique benefit to this apartment offering I would highly recommend as it has an amazing sandy beach and snorkeling. We enjoyed having our coffee in the morning and sunsets on the balcony. The pool was a nice place to relax if you wanted to take a break from the beaches. We didn’t have a designated parking spot but as others mentioned we didn’t have any issues finding street parking. We pretty much always found a parking spot at the dive shop one street back. Host was very communicative and answered a lot of our questions promptly. Only downside to the apartment was the noise from the restaurant next door which was quite loud. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this Airbnb. Read more 15th Dec 2024 by Rachel via The view is wonderful We had a great stay! The condo was beautiful, within walking distance of many popular restaurants and bars. Parking can be tricky but we lucked out a couple of times. The view is wonderful but it is on a very busy and loud road which is the trade-off for being in town. The bed was really comfortable and there were plenty of towels which we appreciated. The kitchen had everything you need.
